When I say I’ve been there, I mean that quite literally!
That handsome bloke above?
That’s me - Jared Singleton
I’ve spent 15 years in the electrical industry. I left school, did my apprenticeship, worked for a local firm, qualified… and like many people who are good at what they do, I eventually had customers asking for me personally.
So I did what you probably did.
I set up on my own.
At first, it felt great. More control. Better money. Pride in your work.
But it didn’t take long to realise something no one really warns you about:
Running a business isn’t just about being good at the trade,
especially once you start growing or bringing a team into the mix.
The Bit No One Prepares You For
Suddenly, you’re juggling:
Admin that never seems to end
Customer calls and messages at all hours
Missed calls you meant to return
Quotes to send, invoices to chase
Reviews you know you should ask for
And the constant feeling that something’s slipping
All while trying to actually do the work…
and still have a life outside of it.
It’s a lot. And when you add family, relationships, and day-to-day responsibilities into the mix, it can feel overwhelming fast.
What Changed Everything for Me
I ran my electrical business for 10 years.
It grew organically, largely because of the service we were able to give customers, and that was only possible because of the systems we had in place behind the scenes.
Those systems gave me:
Control
Consistency
Headspace
And eventually, an exit when I sold the company
I’m confident I wouldn’t have achieved that without them.
But even if you’re not aiming for an exit, the difference the right systems make to your work life and personal life is huge and often underestimated until you experience it for yourself.
Why I’m Here Now
I’ve taken the ideas and systems that worked in my own business and rebuilt them into a simpler, more streamlined version, designed specifically for people like you, people who want things to run properly without drowning in admin or tech.
This isn’t about selling software.
It’s about giving you back control, clarity, and breathing room, the same way it did for me.
